In today’s society, there is a lot of pressure
passed through families on their siblings or children to be the best in their
family. Especially, since our economy is going through some struggles, and the
standards have risen is a reason why parents don’t want to see their child
fail. What parent in their right mind would want to see that? Now since society has gotten tougher
over the years it is understandable why there is so much pressure put on
children at such a young age.
Throughout
the recent history of the world and society, there has been some increasing
amount of pressure being put on children at a young age. It is becoming way
more common than it used to be back in the day. I am not saying that every
child is taught not to fail and pressure put on them isn’t equivalent to 250
pounds of dead weight on their shoulders. There are always going to be those
groups of parents who don’t care about their children and let them do whatever
and those are the kids who more then not get into trouble or do nothing with
their lives. It is not a bad thing to be taught not to fail and expect a lot of
your most prized possession. However, it’s a limit and border that shouldn’t be
crossed especially when you are putting expectation on a child.
Children
are a delicate matter to deal with and you must be fragile with them, depending
on the younger they are. However, every child acts differently to pressure and
failure no matter what age they are. It is always a mixture of good and bad
outcomes with that but you have build good foundation for your young ones
regardless. The ones who are lacking support and family are the same ones
running the streets whenever they want and getting into trouble. The economy
now doesn’t help either. It is hard to make it far in life but yet nothing
worth having comes easy. Failure could sometimes teach you and make you
stronger but I think that you need to be nurtured and have certain values and
solid foundation to make it far.
